Violet delight

We recently provided a glass panel for a stunning new interior by kitchen design company Kensington Scott, which supplies and fits handmade kitchens in Kent and the South East. Kensington Scott partners with renowned brands such as Bosch, Neff, Siemens, Blanco and Liebherr to produce bespoke kitchens of the highest quality, and we are thrilled to work with them on a regular basis.

An abstract image of softly blurred stripes in a bold violet shade was digitally printed to a high resolution for the bespoke made-to-measure panel; it looks sensational in situ, complementing the sleek style of the space while also adding a hit of colour and energy. Under-cabinet lighting highlights the glossy finish and contemporary pattern of the print on glass, which glows with colour and vibrancy.

The overall design of the kitchen is very modern, with off-white gloss cabinets and black granite worktops. Handles, appliances, socket plates and furniture are made from stainless steel, with a matte appearance that contrasts beautifully with the high-shine cabinets and surfaces. A black and silver palette has also been selected for accessories such as the utensil holders, kettle and coffee machine, giving the room an elegant monochrome look.

A bright panel in a striking print on glass was therefore chosen to become the focal point of the space. Situated behind the hob, it draws the eye to the furthest corner of the room without overwhelming the overall look of modern sophistication.
